Hotel Gran Jimenoa

We loved the overall look and feel of Hotel Gran Jimenoa! However, since it seems they’re going under some sort of remodeling through out the property, some of the guests areas looked unattended. Our room was just perfect for our family stay, but it was not as clean as we would have liked.. there was sand and ground dirt in the bathroom and bath tub.. the hotel is pet friendly and although we do not have any pets, I believe we were just given the last of the rooms available because that’s exactly what we got, a room with families with pets.. we were the last room on the third floor(328), and it did not have a light outside the room lighting the door, so at night was super dark and didn’t have that feel of safety, although the entire hotel felt safe and secure.. we’ve stayed with many hotels that we’ve booked through Hotels.com and we’ve always enjoyed their selections.. this particular one was phenomenal, except for the few things mentioned, which if the hotel is given the chance they’ll be able to fix with no problems.. 😊

It was a two days trip with family , the place is beautiful , great place to relax. Staff were professionals . It was great stay.

Its a great place to stay in Jarabacoa, its comfortable and clean. They make you feel safe and greatly accomodated my baby.

I loved the location near the river where you can bathe if you wish, the staff is very friendly, I recommend it for families who want to get away from the noise and stress of the city

My family had a great experience overall. Everything was clean and the service was great. I would love to see more updates in the room design but I would still definitely come back!

If you are looking run away from the stress of the city, traffic and work routine, this is the right place. This place is located at the mountain among a green vegetation and a beautiful river. I was there myself I would visit it again with the whole family.

Had a junior suit by the river with amazing viewes and relaxing sounds of the river. Very comfy beds and clean. Ate a few times at the restaurant which was convenient and tasty. Just be ready for a slow but friendly service. Jarabacoa has a lot to offer. Visited Salto Jimenoa dos (even though google said it was closed), the Salto Escondido de los Monjes andSalto Baiguate. We were alone at all the falls!!! Booked rafting throught the hotel too.

This property is a beautifully landscaped paradise in the mountains with a river running through it. Scenic and cooler, temperature-wise then other areas we visited by the beach. It was a very peaceful and welcome change from some all inclusives we previously stayed at in Punta Cana and in Santo Domingo. We went as a family with two toddlers. They have a play set for the kids which kept them entertained when we were not out talking walks and exploring Jarabacoa. The rooms were clean and staff was friendly. I wish their were more dining options on campus but overall, this place was beautiful!
