Hotel Rancho Constanza

Loved the European chalet style accomodation and views. Would like to see a menu for dining. The grounds are interesting for their seleceion of trees and ornamentals. Ideal for family reunions. Easy drive or walk into the town center where there are several very good restaurants, including La Esquinas and Aguas Blancas. We stayed midweek with barely another guest but understand the weekends are busy

Staff was very friendly. Loved the hot chocolate and fire in the fireplace on a rainy day. I absolutely loved all the plants and garden areas. We had nice hot showers and comfortable rooms. We also enjoyed the kids play area. We would have liked for our room to be cleaned in the 4 days we were there and new towels to be provided. I am sure the staff would have done that if we would have requested it, but it would be a good idea for that to be done regularly for the guests. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the suite. The view was amazing. It was clean and comfortable. Service was good. The garden beautiful. Loved the big area for kids to play.

Stayed at Villa 3 with my family during a weekend with a tropical storm. Reception staff was very kind and serviceable, as well as the rest of the staff (maintenance, cleaners). They brought us the included breakfast (a very good and plastic wrapped meal) since it was part of our "package", twice to us at the villa during our stay, even when raining. They gave us the option during this Covid-19 time to bring breakfast to the villa or to eat the included breakfast at their restaurant. There is hot water only on the tub (not on the sink), and for a moment while bathing you may run out of hot water. The trick is waiting two minutes and then opening again the hot water faucet, and voila! - abundant hot water again. Maybe this is due to other people bathing at the same time on their rooms at this property. The property is in general well taken care of, and I find it more intimate than its competitor close by. Had a nice time with my family. I recommend it as a nice 3 star mountain hotel.
