Overall the property is of high standard- clean, safe, excellent staff. I traveled with my two grandchildren- the WiFi in the room continually dropped out- this isn’t good with kids…..!!!!!

The hotel was very spacious for European Hotels. We were upgraded to a large connecting room - and that was very nice for our large family - to have so much room. The hotel is a little worn around the edges. The elevators are very small and slow - The cleaning of the rooms was included - however upon check in they told me I needed to reserve cleaning by scanning a QR code - but what they didn’t mention was that you had to put in a request by 10 pm the night before - so I only had housekeeping one day - The housekeeping didn’t throw any of our trash away - ( a bad and empty food containers) which was a bit disappointing. The location of the hotel was very nice - so close to the train station. We rented bikes every day on the donkey app and there were always bikes available right out front the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, and knowledgeable. The Italian restaurant in the lobby was excellent quality, we had a lovely meal at the end of a long day walking around. It was very convenient and high quality. The rooms were very reasonably priced and I feel we got an excellent hotel for our money. Since we are a family of five - we needed two rooms which can get pricey, tbe complimentary upgrade to a connecting room with an extra bathroom was fabulous - we had three rooms total and it made our stay that much better. Would recommend!

The hotel was just ok for one night. The hotel room was showing it’s age. The lobby is beautiful, but that’s where it ends. The elevators to the floors are small and slow. We opted for a “family room” - For some odd reason everything in our room was unplugged, and there was one outlet that shared the tv or the lamp, so you could not use both. The beds were super uncomfortable. The air conditioning was barely functioning and kept the room at a miserable 80 degrees. The blinds were falling off their track. The bath tub is slippery and the climb into it is so high, it was difficult for my senior mother to get into for her to shower. The person that checked us in was very matter-of-fact and did not provide any type of greeting or welcoming at all. He seemed off-put by our presence when we arrived at 10am after a cruise. He told me rooms were ready after 3 and to come back later. I had to ask if we could store our luggage. I avoided him when I returned to the reception desk later in the day. If given the option, I would not stay here again.

Great location for a short family break. Staff were friendly and onsite restaurant was value for money. Room was a little small for the 3 people and no daily clean was provided, despite being requested.

The location is very good but the beds are really sub-standard. The room felt very hot with no air conditioning. The staff was helpful and friendly. It was very expensive so you do not expect beds of such poor quality. They put 2 kids beds in the room with thin mattress "toppers" on top that slide off constantly. This is really pathetic for an otherwise nice hotel. The shower is also really primitive. The Europeans really have a lot to learn when it comes to modern amenities. Even the cheapest american hotels have better beds and showers.
