71 Nyhavn Hotel

Yazmin greeted us after a 9 hr flight. She gave us an option between an available room that was comparable and had a much better layout than the Junior Suited we reserved. She gave us breakfast, lunch and dinner suggestions. She also made reservations to a fantastic restaurant Vaest for our first night. She was terrific. The hotel is lucky to have such a wonderful and helpful employee. It set the tone of the whole trip and my wife and I were so very happy to know that the hotel staff, the restaurant in the hotel and everyone were so helpful and kind. Great place to stay. I cannot wait to return with our children.

We love love loved this property. We stayed in the suite which was adjoining rooms - perfect for our family with teenage girls. The property was iconic, super walkable and on the water! I’d highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely return. And the breakfast was lovely each morning and mini bar was complimentary.

Great location if you want to be in a busy area, right on Nyhavn with views of the boats. Quiet during the night which is good. Very friendly and pleasant staff - a real plus; they gave us extra pillows and towels when asked for. Room was small but modern and bed was large and comfortable. Lack of storage space though - lots of hangers, but only 2 small drawers. Room had windows that kept out the outdoors noise but lacked sound insulation between rooms (we could hear footsteps from upstairs and children in the next room). Excellent breakfast with plenty of hot and cold choices, although the dining room was small and so got very busy at the weekend. Only complaint about breakfast was the very average coffee which is surprising in a country that loves its coffee! Overall a good city hotel and I would stay again.

I stayed at 71 Nyhavn one night with my family and we had a wonderful stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the breakfast excellent.

Had a really lovely stay at 71Nyhavn. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. Room booked was a junior suite but on check in found it wasn’t suitable for us. Another room was found for us immediately. Just be aware some of the junior suites are on 2 floors with a tight spiral staircase. Bed upstairs, bathroom downstairs. Breakfast was amazing. Hotel position perfect by the canal. Would definitely recommend.
