The hotel has this old-fashioned charm and is located in the historical district a few minutes away from many attractions (clock tower, etc.). The hotel offers an exceptional buffet breakfast that is better than any restaurant in the area. It reminded me of a high-end, all-inclusive resort. This definitely helps to offset the hotel's cost, which is not at the low end. The downside of the location is that Uber/Bold cannot find it in the narrow streets of old Prague, and you need to go somewhere to catch a ride. As a result, you are forced to order a limo through the hotel, which is very much overpriced. Staying at the hotel makes you feel like you are in old Prague, and only the TV set and coffee pot in the room remind you of modern times. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the historical place. At the same time, the hotel has the most modern amenities, except for laundry. The little annoying thing was that you were given only one old-looking room key, and even though it looked interesting at first, I was always afraid to lose it, and I left the key at the front desk when exiting the hotel. The bathroom door doesn't have a key for the lock, which is strange, but I thought it was a consequence of an old design. Overall, the hotel is charming. We had never stayed in the old hotel before, and all my family seemed to enjoy it.

Loved this place! The front desk staff were amazing. The breakfast was amazing, the room was huge and accommodated my family of four easily. We would stay here again!

Our family of 4 loved this property and the staff. The hotel is a little old school, in a matter of speaking. You have to leave your key (it's an actual key, not a card) at the reception. The breakfast is okay, nothing great -- it fills you up until your next meal. The hotel is in a very central location, not even a 5 minute walk to Old Town Square. There is a mini-mart next door, as well as a lot of restaurants. The staff is awesome! After a day or two in the hotel, they already know what key to give you. It has a very homey feel to it. They helped us look for a laundry facility, even called them to make sure they were able to take our load. There is a lady in the front office, with short hair. She is so nice to my 6 year old. Everytime my 6yo would give her the key, she would give my son Easter egg chocolates, which made my son excited to see her everytime. Vladimir (the night shift person) is always ready to greet you with a smile, no matter what time in the night we arrive. Also, the staff is really honest. My son left his Switch device. When we realized we didn't have it (at that point, we were at the airport), we emailed them about it. Within 10 minutes, we received an email that they found it and that they were going to send it to us in the US. They don't make hotels like this anymore! It really is home away from home. Thank you to all the staff!!!

Had a great stay at Hotel Leon D'Oro. We booked a family room/studio suite, which was perfect for a family of four - it had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a lovely terrace with an incredible view. Great location, walkable to everything, easy and staff underground parking for a fee. Great breakfast! Would definitely stay there again.

The kids and I enjoyed our stay very much. It was our first trip to Prague and we will definitely return. Hotel Leon D’Oro made it memorable- from the very first correspondence to the day of check out. The location was unbeatable, the two terrace suite was amazing, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, filling and slightly different each day. We will return! Thank you! 😂

Quick and easy check in. Room was large (family room) 2 bedrooms, with1 attached to a terrace. 2 full baths. Terrace bathroom is in the same room as main bedroom so main bedroom is not "private". Breakfast was excellent. Lots of hot options, bakery, salads, meats, and salads. Croissants were amazing.

This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. The family room was huge! Hotel is older, but was clearly well taken care of. Staff was amazing and went above and beyond in everything they did. Location was perfect and was roughly 2 blocks from the main square/astrological clock. Despite being so close to the main tourist area, the hotel was silent and allowed us to have a good night sleep. Great foods options within walking distance and hotel breakfast was better than most. Will definitely be back.

Great location, in the heart of old town. Older hotel, but very comfortable. We had the family room and it was like a small apartment. The included breakfast buffet offers something for everyone- one of the most complete we’ve seen. Front desk staff very helpful.

We had a family suite terrace. The view was outstanding and you are in the heart of old town with many popular sights less than a 10 min walk. Two bathrooms made a stress free trip with our 2 young adult sons. If you are nervous of heights or have a hard time climbing narrow winding stairs you may want to ask for terrace with easier access. Although there was still a small lower balcony and for our family of 4 it was perfect!! Great location. Lovely people.
