Hotel Boutique Lagarta Lodge

Absolutely wonderful stay. Everything about the hotel was superb, the spacious room, pool area, staff. Hotel is a short drive to the amazing local beaches (although hotel offers complimentary beach shuttle) and lively restaurants and bars of Nosara but tucked away on the hillside in the peace & quiet. Unexpected wonderful wildlife around the pool - lizards, hawks, howler monkeys, racoon families. Highly recommend this hotel.

We loved this place! So relaxing and beautiful. I was traveling with my 17 & 20 year old kids and we all had a wonderful time. Great service, amazing ceviche (all the food was good) the sunsets were breathtaking, Room was large, clean, beds were comfortable and the view off our patio was incredible. They treated us so warmly, down to the Happy Birthday chalk sign on my door that I woke up to on my birthday. The roads getting their are rough but its worth the trip! Can’t wait to come back.

Stayed at this property 3 nights with my husband. We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the jungle and ocean. Great place to lie in the hammock or sit and watch the sunset. The room was very nice just as in the pictures and very comfortable beds. Great shower with lots of hot water. The pool/hot tubs were very nice. Loved our delicious breakfast every morning. Had dinner on-site one evening and it was wonderful also - lots of vegetarian choices. We did an excursion booked through the hotel to see baby sea turtles hatching - we met up at 4:15 in the morning. It was early but so worth it! Truly magical! Yes, as other reviews have said the road leading to the hotel was a bit tricky in places - pot holes, steep in places… but if you drive slowly it is not so bad and we rented a small suv which made it easier.

This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are clean and well kept. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My family of four really enjoyed our time at Lagarta Lodge.
