The staff treats you like family The breakfast and the restaurante food is spectacular The rooms are always very clean

The hotel is a newer, nicely located hotel, in an area that is supposed to be good. We were told by the staff that we could walk early in the night to the Chipichape Mall and we got robbed at gunpoint, worst experience our family had. We were completely traumatized. There is a police station which knows about a gang in the park close by (you will see the park right in front of the hotel), but when notified about the robbery they did nothing even when they had the location of the phone and description of the assailants (which they conveniently changed for the patrolling police). So even if you are told is safe, please please! do not wander further than the market across the street walking and please carry all you need in your front pockets only or even safer place. When you arrive you have to guess that the lobby is on the second floor taking the elevator, nobody is on the first floor entrance most of the time. Be careful with the entrance door because it can crush you, the sensors are not sensitive enough for an adult, so should be more dangerous for a child. The rooms are very minimalist, so there are no real closets or storage which makes it very hard to keep organized. Rooms are quiet and beds are comfortable. Breakfast is nice and coffee is available 24/7. Parking is free which is a plus in the city. Servers and most of the staff are really pleasant. A nice enough hotel as long as you are aware of the surrounding danger and the room arrangement.
