GHL Hotel Tequendama Bogotá

Well i visited Bogota for see my family ,this hotel needs some improvements, the breakfast bad!! Scambleeggs horrible!! Fried also poor b/f

Staff and service was unique, the best.i would recommend friends and family.

This hotel has clean and comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious and the service make you feel like a king. I was first assigned to a very small room with a relatively good view, but noisy. They upgraded me into a junior suite, which was great. The worst thing in this hotel are people (employees) blocking the entry to get through the lobby to get into my room.

They upgraded me into a junior suite, which was great. It is an old hotel, dated, in deed of a complete renovation (which will likely not happen any time soon) but to me has the charm of the 1970s. This used to be THE HOTEL in Bogota. I knew what to expect. The location is central, which was key to me due to the terrible traffic everywhere and at every hour, however it has its downside: it is in close proximity of very sketchy areas of Bogota, which I was aware. So, always be careful walking around the area. The restaurant food and service is very average. Limited alternatives for dining around the area. I had a good stay and I would return, as it is good cost benefit ratio and front desk staff was very friendly.
