The hotel has six rooms and thus you feel unique with a personalized attention by everyone. Staff very friendly. It should be rated 5 star. It has even a chef who prepares your food at will, no pre-defined menu but this is prepared together with you following your tastes. Also there are no times for breakfast. lunch or dinner; everything can be served at your own pace. Also there are no times for the use of the pool or yacuzzi, which given the number of guests feels like your own. Another good thing was that there were no noises, no children and no pets. I think that the hotel is better for couples.

The hotel is so beautiful, it was once a single family home, albeit a large, luxurious one. There is a lap pool on the first floor behind the reception area with a seating/lounging area and a large guest room behind that. We used the pool on arrival while waiting for our rooms to be ready and one other time, it's pleasant but not someplace where you would spend the day. Our rooms were lovely and comfortable with a wall air conditioner and slat windows that could be opened. The only problem with opening the slats was that there were mosquitoes due to the open air hacienda architecture and the large number of tropical plants. I like to sleep with all the windows open so it was my own fault that mosquitoes were getting in the room. Leaving only one window open would likely cut down on that problem. Breakfast is at one's leisure and the kitchen is open all day. You can sit in the lovely formal dining room using beautiful linen mats and napkins or at the more casual table in the open air interior. You can request almost anything or so it seemed. We had scrambled eggs most days and requested coconut pancakes another day, all delicious. There is a buffet of fruit, meat and cheeses, cereal and juices, for all to enjoy and the coffee was very good. There are comfortable seating areas on every floor so if you're hanging around the hotel there's plenty of space outside your room to relax in. The rooftop terrace is very nice for lounging, taking in the view and the jacuzzi!

From the moment you are greeted at the airport until when you leave, you are cared for like family nurturing their loved ones. Eder, Amparo and Javier are there for every detail. Eder is the boss, Amparo is the owner and Javier is the savant chef who prepared one lunch and two dinners that can rival any three star anywhere. The hotel itself is a magnificent restoration, calm, spotless and élégant.
