Crowne Plaza Barranquilla, an IHG Hotel

We had a great experience in the Crown Plaza hotel. Service was great. The room was clean, modern and bathroom really spacious. My kids loved the rooftop pool. Breakfast buffet was wonderful with all the variety of fruit and colombian typical foods. Easy walk to the mall and restaurants in the surrounding areas.

Love this property. Was my 2nd time there. Would be 10 out of 10 except we were told breakfast was not included in my reservation which i didnt question at the time. Bought breakfast at the mall but then became curious as i didn't recall an option to select or not select breakfast. Upon checking my reservation it clearly stated it included breakfast. They tried to make it up to us by offering lunch but we had an 11 am departure time to get to the airport on time...we took some food to go; but i wonder how could they have gotten it so wrong from the start...wonder if my large black American family was a factor as we got stares from staff and guests alike for being able to stay at a nice hotel and we were the only black family there....

Very friendly and helpful staff, the bellboys were excellent, they made you feel like family. The restaurants amd the pool were also great

There was a party for kids at the pool area the whole day on the Saturday

Great service! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was well clean all the time. The pool was a good size and not too deep, so kids (12&7) could enjoy it!. Food at the restaurant was delicious. Hotel location is great! You can walk to malls and restaurants. The only issue we had is the laundry machine at the bedroom didn’t work, they did bring us a solution late but at least it came. We stayed there for 11 days as a family vacation.

I went to the Crowne Plaza Barranquilla and it was absolutely an experience. Its location is excellent right across from 3 huge international brand malls, excellent restaurants and nightlife. I would go back there in a heartbeat. The staff, especially Amaury, Javier, Edgardo to name a few will go over and above to ensure that you and your family are having a great time and nothing is missing. Highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed how friendly you are greeted the moment you get there. The staff takes the time to get to know you. The cleaning lady Laudith was so nice to us, always with a smile and always making making sure we had everything we needed in our room. Breakfast is great. Pool roof top is a plus my kids had a blast. Highly recommended
