Holiday Inn Santiago - Airport Terminal, an IHG Hotel

I like that it’s right next to the airport. It is quiet and clean. I can sleep through the night like a baby. Thank you!

Exceptional staff. We were welcomed like family. The hotel facilities are very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for gaining access to the airport. We will always plan our trips to include a night at the Holiday Inn, either when we arrive or plan our departure. I can’t say enough about our experience there.

Hotel itself was fine- room as advertised, etc; location next to international terminal was excellent. Challenge: hotel booking was intended as a four- hour pre-flight resting point while travelling with extended family, including several aged 65+. After a somewhat heated discussion re: number of people in our group, hotel management invoked and aggressively enforced a "2- adults per room" rule resulting in us shuttling family to/ from room for toilet, etc. Management was also unwilling to hold luggage for the party (beyond the 2 people in the room), resulting in a lot of bag shuffling up/down the small elevator. While I appreciate the hotel's security concerns, the enforcement approach was over the top given the nature and number of guests involved and the length of time on the property. At the end of the day, the older people in the group got to rest while the others spent the time in the restaurant/ outside- was much better than sitting in the airport but was not up to par with other Holiday Inn/ IHG experiences.
