The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa

Hotel lobby area is nice. Rooms are on the small side. I traveled with my husband and 2 kids (10&6). Our room had two double beds and it’s a snug fit for 2 adults. I asked for a king bed with a pull out sofa but the hotel refused me stating that 4 people had to be in a double bed room. The bathroom was also very small and no fan. There’s only 1 pool and a few restaurants that are ok. My go to was the coffee shop. The beach was the best part for us. No seaweed and plenty of chairs/umbrellas.

The best location on 7 mile beach. Absolutely gorgeous! Service is impeccable and clean. Staff are all friendly and happy. Expensive but you get what you pay for. Made for a wonderful vacation. Definitely will go back and will recommend it to my friends. Our room number was 448 and we had double beds with a balcony and view of the pool and ocean front- stunning. The hotel room and bathroom need a bit of updating but it was clean. The coffee shop in the lobby had great tasting coffee and food selection- the best time to go to get coffee - before 8am otherwise it will be a line. Our beach food, restaurant food all very good. The only disappointing thing was that take out from Beach House restaurant was not available. It’s a big issue when you have kids and they are tired from being on the beach all day and have no energy to go to the restaurant. We did crystal caves and was a good experience but it was very hot. Best time to book them is in the morning. We have used Captain Marvin for Swimming with the Stingrays and Starfish- the best experience ever.

The Westin was a perfect place for ease to the beach and all the food we had was great. The staff was extremely nice to my whole family and remembered us each day and greeted us. Thanks for an awesome vacation!!!!

Westin is a quality-cut jewel, whose elegance is reflected in the services, staff, variety of stellar cuisine, and the perfect beach atmosphere for newlyweds and families alike. Never pretentious but always committed to willingness and warm greetings from all staff made this our ideal getaway for our anniversary ❤️.

Property was nice and well kept with a beautiful beach front. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only downside is the beds. Double beds offered are really not large enough for 2 people to sleep in. While I know the beds come specifically advertised as doubles I wish they had a 2 queen option. In addition, during our stay a large company trip was there. Due to this certain activities were cancelled and whole parts of the resort were “reserved”. My kids wanted to jet ski and banana boat bc none of these were left for all the other paying customers at the resort!

Stayed with kids age 12 Resort is great lots of lounge space, crowded but did not feel crowded, great food on site and good location. Paid extra for water activities whic was expected and good service. Rooms a nice size

Was disappointed with how many kids were left to run wild in the pool area no rules were enforced at all footballs and every other ball you can think of were being thrown and hitting every person in pool and bar area.

The Westin is nestled between the Ritz and Kimpton and therefore convenient for food options. The beach location is beautiful and kid friendly. We enjoyed our family vacation. We rated this hotel a 4 star because of several factors: - the jacuzzis were cold and extremely dirty - the pool is small and very cold - the line to the cafe is always over 30 minutes long. They need to have two cashiers or have juices and pastries for sale at the store across the cafe. - the food was ok and expensive.

Very noisy, poor condition of pool and beach chairs. Overcrowded pool...with children, teenagers, playing ball, cannon ball diving...not relaxing at all! Main lounge humid, warm...could not feel ac. No turn down service in evening, inspite of a 1000.00 a night full ocean view room ...and other complaints . However, Concierge rep. JASMINE was a breath of fresh air...very friendly, and informative. She is a definite asset to the hotel.
