The only reason we stayed here was so the kids could go swimming. We stayed 2 nights and the pool was closed the entire time we were there. What a huge disappointment for them.

Just gorgeous! Worth the trip, so much to do and see whether you like history, fine dining, pubs/live music, boating, etc, there’s truly so much packed in on every street. The city is clean and safe. We did the upgrade to a nicer room with a great view that included an upscale buffet breakfast, a happy hour with hors d’oeuvres, a private concierge , etc…it was worth the money. We took the free historic/ferry tour and really loved it. We also did the Quebec City double-decker ride that has headphones and gives you information about the sites as you drive along. It was unusually hot (90* degrees Fahrenheit )Which is very unusual for this area ! But it didn’t prevent the fun. The only downsides were that the pool was closed (it seemed there was some sort of issue with the pool water that was an unexpected problem) for the day which was fine for us but probably not so much for people who are there with children! The only other negative (I feel badly adding this part bc the restaurants are so beautiful!) was the $30 bill for the yuckiest drink I’ve ever had in the 1601 Bar downstairs called the “So Fresh So Clean”. DO NOT do it, I think the name was a purposeful oxymoron because it (it’s embarrassing to say) tasted like the smell of a sweaty-oniony armpit 😬. I am so absolutely boggled why anyone would ever ever drink that purposely or put it on a really upscale menu. Very, very strange. Anyway, worth a trip for sure! Loved it.

I did have a couple of issues with this 5 star Hotel..It was $50 a day to park so expected a 5 star experience ! When I got home I noticed 3 nice gouges in my Fender and my bumper was all scratched up on my brand new car, something I couldn't notice upon pick up because of the salt and grit from the bad weather 😡 The pool was absolutely impossible for any adult to enjoy completely commendered by screaming children plastic toys and debris floating in the hot tub...I Can't understand why a hotel of this caliber wouldn't at least have 2 hours of adult swim in the morning and 2 hours of adult swim in the evening !!! We also had ripped up screans in the windows (Trashy) Aside from my issues the hotel was nice all the restaurants were very good ! Hence the 4 stars !

It’s a great place to visit, I am traveling with my kid with few luggage, it was very obvious when I check in, but we was send to an room that you need to climbing stairs after elevator, the stair is very narrow also with tunings, that really leaves the bad taste in my mouth.

The park is a perfect place to stay to enjoy the Quebec atmosphere. Is is surrounded by all the restaurants and souvenir shops. Great sweeping views of the river. We did not eat at the restaurants in the hotel other than take out from Starbucks. The only down side was that the pool was wall to wall kids and was not the serene oasis presented in the photos.

Beautiful property central to everything. Walked everywhere without needing a taxi. Unbelievably clean hotel and streets. My family and I made a game to see who could spot any litter anywhere. Wonderful experience if you like -14 degree weather during winter.
