Hôtel Lac Carling Golf & Spa

Hôtel Lac Carling in Grenville-sur-Rouge is a beautiful oasis. We were traveling with two tiny dogs and were advised in advance that we would get a first floor room with a sliding door, allowing easy access to the lawn for walks. We had a small, but lovely patio with tables, chairs and there was even a picnic table with gas grill! There were plenty of picnic tables, grills for any guests to make use of during their stay. The front desk had BBQ tools for guest use. They also had plenty of outdoor activities for families with children and teens to access to keep them occupied. And for the adults - golf! We were surprised to have free access to a number of kayaks, paddle boats, and SUPs on the teeny lake on the property. After a truly gorgeous sunset paddle, we were pleased to see a lakeside campfire had been started to watch the moonrise over the water. Outdoor hot tubs! They provided a lovely continental breakfast until 11 AM, which was appreciated since we don't set an alarm on vacation! The staff are bilingual, as most Québecois are, and everyone was very polite and accommodating. They gave every impression of being a team that enjoys each other's company and wants every guest to enjoy their stay. What more can you ask for? Our room was very clean and tidy. We were within reasonable driving distance from Montréal(1.5 hrs) for those who need a more urban adventure. *Pay attn to pro driving tip: avoid Scotch Rd at all costs* Want peace? Go to Lac Carling!

This is a beautiful property. Unique and elegant with an excellent golf course. There is a spa and indoor pool as well. However, there is not a great variety of activities for families or those who do not play golf.

The staff was terrific, hotel beautifully kept, staff very helpful and friendly, beautiful spot, lots of activities for the kids the outdoor rink was a big hit, and in great shape outdoor bonfires, clean quiet just beautiful

This unique resort deserves some updates to preserve it's history and classic character (antique chandeliers, marble from Europe etc.). Perfect for golfers, families or couples for a quiet get away.
