Our family had a great stay!

The lake is outstanding although very shallow. This is a bonus for those with young children. Although the rooms are ordinary the structure of the lodge is based on the log cabin aesthetic and is impressive. all in all a lovely setting

The hotel is nice, the is staff is and rooms are comfortable. The location is amazing, isolated, surrounded by forest but be prepared for moskitos. All the surrounding land is on a base of sand that makes the water amazing, clear, shallow to walk around and there is a main beach really nice. The activities on the beach are nice as there is unlimited access to paddle boards, kayaks, canoes and padalos for only 30 dollars for the stay per familly. Thère is also a beach voleyball court, sand toys for kids, chais, chaise longs.... the inside pool is at a comfortable temperature and the 5 spas outside and inside make it a real treat. The only downside is the food. The restaurant is out of price without menu for kids and courses from 45-49Cad up. The Bistro has a menu for kids (pasta, hamburger and poutine) and for adults ceasar salad, hamburger and poutine. Being at 15km from the town you feel a bit traptted. Saint-Michel des Saints has a Provigo where the hot grilled chicken sales fast and is a good source of fresh fruits and veggies. We highly recommend the restaurant In Ville, elegant, very good, bring your wine, good menus for kids, the most expensive course is around 40$ ...the pétoncles and the sauce are amazing. Unbelievable with a great wine from SAQ, 2 mins away, an amazing meal for five, 3 kids menus, taking a fillet and a petoncles was as much as the meal at the Bistro of the hotel with a hamburger, a poutine and beer+3 menu kids. It worths 10 mins drive to the town.
