Loved what they did with the entry way and loved that it’s a local family who started and run this hotel

The location of the hotel is very good, and the hotel is very clean and tidy. I stayed for three nights with family and we were very disappointed that housekeeping did not clean, change bed sheets or leave us with any fresh towels during our stay. According to the front desk housekeeping only attend on the fourth day of a visit. Very disappointing as this was not highlighted to me at the time of check-in or anywhere on the advert which entices you to stay.

The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Common areas were attractive. We arrived to check in 1.5 hours early and were told to come back at 3 pm. I can't really complain about that since check in time was 3 pm. However, in my experience, usually I have been able to check in, store my luggage, and offered a text when the room is ready but there was none of that. I had to give the washroom an extra cleaning as the toilet was not done well from previous guests. It was noisy in the hotel from other guests; swim meet in town = lots of kids running around the hotel though it did quiet down at 10:30/11 pm. Breakfast buffett was available and plentiful. Food is as you would expect for a buffett. Overall I would stay again but with lower expectations.

The property is easily accessible from the highway and local amenities. The room is not very quiet because families in rooms above and beside can easily be heard through the walls. Would have liked to have had some fresh fruit options in the morning. Really liked the community bakery bread option. The corners of the shower appeared dirty and could have been cleaned better. The bed was very comfortable and the room was mostly clean.
