Rodd Miramichi

The hotel was overrun by families attending a sports event and they allowed their kids to play street hockey in the corridors with groups of parents drinking partying in the public corridors.....the restaurant was chaotic......a complete disastet and we will never patronize another Rodd again. And we will spread the word.....

Didn't get much sleep or quietness du tu kids running and screaming up and down the halls all day and morning du to hockey tournaments

I recently stayed at the Rodd Miramichi hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was far from enjoyable. The primary reason for my dissatisfaction was the incessant noise in the corridor, persisting well past midnight. It became apparent that there was a wedding taking place, and the hotel had accommodated the wedding guests on the same side of the hotel where we were staying. With a toddler in tow, our inability to get a good night’s sleep turned our stay into a nightmarish ordeal. It was disappointing that the hotel didn’t take the necessary measures to ensure a peaceful and restful experience for all guests, especially those not involved in the event. I hope that the Rodd Miramichi hotel takes this feedback to heart and considers making improvements in how they manage reservations during events. Guests, like myself, who had nothing to do with the celebration, should not be left with such a disruptive and uncomfortable experience. It’s essential for the hotel to be more considerate when planning reservations on days with special events to ensure a more positive stay for all its guests.

This is our second stay when visiting family and we loved it here just as much this time as we did 14 years ago. Very friendly staff at check in and although it's a typical hotel room, everything was in good working order and nice clean. I will be back!

Front desk staff & Dianne in housekeeping are excellent. We we kind of concerned last night at 930 when people were allowing their kids to run and scream outside of our door. They were quiet by 10 thankfully but that was it.

The hotel was located close to all we wanted to do. The swimming pool was a great part of the fun for the kids, The resturant was lovely and overall hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming.We definitely will be back.

We were visiting relatives and find the hotel a perfect spot to get around to visit them all. It is close enough for short visits, time for mid day breaks and returning for more family time. Works great for us!

Great place to relax and enjoy with your family. Food is awesome , maritime touch.

We were a family of 5: three adults and two kids below age 5. Hotel charged us additional 10 dollars for an additional person, but we received no additional srvice. The staff were polite but unfriendly.
