Atlantic Host Hotel

The noise level was remarkable, young guests were running around kicking and knocking on doors for fun, late in the evening. It would be a good place if you want your kids to have good time though not ideal if you need a good night’s sleep

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Altantic Host with my family, and I must say it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment we arrived to our departure, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. Check-in was seamless and efficient, with the staff providing a warm welcome that set the tone for the rest of our visit. The level of service throughout our stay was truly exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the delicious food offered at the Atlantic Host. The on-site dining options surpassed our expectations, offering a diverse menu that catered to various tastes. Each meal was a culinary delight, and we found ourselves eagerly looking forward to our dining experiences. Cleanliness is a top priority for any accommodation, and the Atlantic Host certainly excelled in this regard. Our room was very clean, and the attention to detail was evident. The housekeeping staff deserves commendation for their efforts in maintaining a comfortable and hygienic environment throughout our stay. For families with children, the motel's pool and hot tub facilities were a major hit. The kids had a blast, and it added a fun and relaxing dimension to our overall experience. The well-maintained and inviting pool area provided a perfect way to unwind.

We stayed here because our kids enjoy the pool. Upon check in nothing was mentioned about the pool being out of service. Come to find out it’s been out of operation for approximately a month. A notification or elimination of that service on expedias list would have been appreciated. We also woke up to a used kcup left in the coffee machine. The safety lock was missing on the door. And 2 out of 4 light bulbs were burnt out in the bathroom. We were also woken up in the morning by the cleaning staff having a loud conversation at 9 am directly outside of our room door. I’ve stayed at the host for years and have never noticed problems until this past year. Hopefully things will turnaround under the new ownership.

My trip was planned for two days with my kids so they can relax and enjoy the pool. To find out after we checked in and went to the pool it was very cold 71. My kids were very disappointed so we decided not to stay second night then I was informed that they have been having problems with the pool but was never notified of the problems. Reception was not very helpful and kept making excuses of pool problems and telling us that the amenities are free but advertise heated pool and it is winter. Anytime visiting in the area always stayed there for the past 30 yrs but this was the last.

The hotel was full of a group of other people who were friendly. They even enjoyed themselves until 3am. I was there with two children. At 1055pm the staff were quick to arrive to the pool area to make sure the kids were out of the pool as it closed at 11pm. No problem as it is a rule. However, they allowed the other guests to party in the hallway, drink and disturb other guests until 3am. Not worth the price of the hotel for that atmosphere or the fact they made kids (4 of them leave the pool) who were not disturbing anyone but yet allowed the hallway to be a party place.

It's located right off the highway. The restaurant was great and looked like a local favourite. Room was clean and decent. Me and the kids loved the pool area.

Things were great, but the room didn't have a fridge, which would have been convenient as restaurant was closed and we needed to purchase food for 2 kids. As well kids were disappointed that the pool table was broken.

Rooms are clean, although the pool was out of order, my kids were hugely disappointed. The friendly clerk advised us to speak with manager, she offered ZERO compensation-would NOT recommend based solely on manager’s actions or lack there of.

Had a lovely weekend with the family! The kids really enjoyed the pool!

Recently stayed for one night while in town shopping with my mom and my kids. Perfect hotel for a nights stay. Kids enjoyed the pool, the beds were comfortable. Beautiful spot with a Tim Hortons across the parking lot :)
