Granite Town Hotel

We loved our stay here. Nice family hotel. Perfect for our needs and the staff was very friendly.

They are the nicest, welcoming staff I've seen at a family hotel.

Amazing stay. The bed was more comfortable than the one at home (I'll be reaching out to know where to find the mattress), super friendly staff, very dog friendly , and 15 to 30min away from so many fun things. Even a nice walking oath across the street and a park for kids next door.

The hotel room I booked was a double queen for myself and my two teenage daughters. Upon arrival I was told they only had a single queen but we could have a cot. No ma'am - not acceptable because my reservation was clearly 2 beds. They suddenly had a room appear. I went outside to get some info out of my car. While outside the two desk clearks had a discussion openly in front of my daughters about how awful room 113 smelled. People were complaining and they were trying to air it out by leaving the door open. This is the room they tried to give me. Now, not being privy to this conversation at the time, when I walked up to 113 the door was open and then the smell hit. The girls told me what they overheard. I was floored and marched right back to the desk without even putting my bag down. They pretended they didn't know what could have been wrong with the room - as if they didn't just say how awful it was infront of my kids. They offered me 112 (single queen) - which I assume would also have some level of stink - and another room in the hotel not near that one for the price of one. I was so disappointed by then and it wasn't how I wanted to spend the first night of my trip with the girls. I requested a refund which was easily given to me through hotels.com (10/10 service). Upon leaving the clerk was nice enough to wish me luck finding another room under $300 in the area. Although she apologized I am still floored she pretended she didn't know the room stank of death!

Vanessa checked us in, she was very efficient, polite, personable and told us everything we needed to know. The room was spacious, whirlpool tub, very clean and comfortable. The towels were plentiful, soft and lots of soap, shampoo and conditioner. They are welcoming of pets and there’s a nice area for walking your dog. It’s very quiet and I’ll continue to stay here. This was not our first time staying there and we’ve recommended it to friends and family.

This place is a little gem. The property is beautiful, the staff super helpful and the area fun to explore on foot. It is close to restaurants and interesting sights. When checking-in, staff provide dining and sight-seeing recommendations and there is a list of attractions in the hotel info book in each room. We were visiting family and found this place to be central to all we wanted to see and do. We would stay here again.

Wonderful stay for family of 6!

Booked for 5 people in the room. 3 adults, 2 kids, ages 10 & 14…arrived to 2 double beds, no couch or anything g for another person to sleep on…not impressed that I was able to book for that many people. No cot was available, so we had a person sleeping on the floor.
