Golden Temple Residence

My family and I LOVED this property so much. The staff was amazing! The Restaurant manager and the other managers made us feel at home. The entire staff was so accommodating to our family’s every need. They even helped to make my husbands birthday and holiday VERY special.

I don’t even know where to begin - the staff left us dumbfounded with their service - it was just that good!! Stayed here with family in their large family suite - large spacious room with 4 beds, large balcony, spacious living space, and a big bathroom. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Location is perfect - right next to Pub Street, but just far enough to avoid all the noise at night. Restaurant serves a good buffet breakfast. Didn’t get a chance to have any other meal here. They do arrange local tours in Siem Reap, but we had already made prior arrangements. We did avail of their airport transfers service (added cost) - a hotel staff accompanies the driver to stay with you during the cab ride - nice touch! You’re greeted by a welcome drink and a crew of smiling hotel staff. The best part - their service!! The staff is always standing by to accommodate any request guests may have. They always bow and namaste you when they see guests - almost to the point where you want to tell them to stop. We’re not used to such service! Net, Bopha - the entire reception crew was stupendous!! Very highly recommend this hotel without any hesitation. Their service will spoil you for all other hotels - enjoy it while you’re here, just don’t get used to it coz you won’t find it anywhere else!

Golden Temple Residence is a very special place. It is nicely designed and run, but the most memorable experience was the friendly and attentive treatment I received from everyone. The very first moment I arrived I was offered to enjoy the welcome tea. Bopha, Net and everyone else at the reception desk knew my name, and everyone was smiling and making sure I always felt welcome. It was like I was surrounded by friends or family. Hotel organized my sightseeing of Angkor Wat temples with official guide Sinet and a driver. I would recommend Sinet to everyone. He was very knowledgeable and very flexible with my schedule. Both Sinet and the driver were at my disposal for most of the day, even waiting for me while I had lunch back in the hotel. This offered me not only a chance to learn stories behind many carvings and statues in detail, but also an opportunity to connect with locals and learn about everyday life in Cambodia. The lunch at the hotel was very good. The restaurant is on a nice patio in the shade, next to the swimming pool. I enjoyed the option of a vegetarian lunch set. Overall, I had an excellent time and a wonderful experience here! I came to see and explore temples of Angor Wat, and I left with the unique feeling of overall satisfaction of my whole stay with friendly people, who pampered me the whole time and made me feel special. Bopha, Net and everyone else at the Golden Temple Residence: thank you very much for your hospitality. I will come back again!
