Chhaylong Angkor Boutique Hotel

Cute family owned place that were attentive to all needs. Very walkable place to get to pub street and they were able to set up drivers for me wherever I wanted to go when I told them what kind of experience I was looking for.

Rooms are great and location is very good. There is some maintenance that would be good to do like door locks and towels need replacing. Didn’t use the dinning area as seemed like staff family space and could be an opportunity to promote more like the local restaurants. Overall it was very good and I would stay there again.

This property is an excellent condition in a great location walking distance to many live areas! The family that run this hotel made it an amazing experience with top-notch service! They arrange Tuk Tuk or taxis for you wherever you wanna go. I recommend booking your Ankor trip through them they will make the arrangements for a driver and guide! Our guide was D and he was amazing spoke Perfect English! Thank you so much

Stayed for 7 nights (as well as a separate booking for family members, for 4 nights.) All the staff (& Ponn’s kids!) are lovely. Our rooms were adjoined (which included upgrading one of the bookings - thankyou Ponn!) Rooms are very clean, & very comfortable, with good aircon, & large bathrooms with good showers. The pool is big, & clean & cold - perfect when returning from the temples, or exploring Siem Reap on a hot day. Location is good proximity to Pub Street, market, riverside, restaurants & bars (but far enough away that it is not negatively impacted by noise.) Hotel is very secure - door is locked at night, but manned so guests can come & go 24/7. Wifi connection is good, but can be temperamental (as to be expected in Siem Reap.) Drinks are available at the bar, & breakfast is available (I didn’t try the latter.) Ponn can organise anything that guests need - thankyou for arranging our transport to Phnom Penh. One piece of feedback: housekeeping service is good, & staff are very friendly, but timing of housekeeping could be a bit more consistent.
