Mata Rocks Resort

Great place. Like living with family but on a beach in Belize, with pickleball. Loved it. Will return.

We stayed at Mata Rocks from January 18 - 25. The hotel was very clean. The outside of the hotel was just painted. Our room was a junior suite (S5) that overlooked the pool and had an ocean view. Loved the big shower in our room which had great water pressure, a comfy king sized bed, and plenty of room. It's worth the extra money for the upgrade. A continental breakfast was served every morning. We would fry eggs in our room to go with the toast, fruit, and juice. The grocery store and bakery is a 5 minute walk up the beach. The Squirrels Nest Beach Bar at the hotel makes wonderful drinks. Definately try the dirty banana and mata colada! The staff was friendly and accomodating. Mata Rocks has a dock, so you get picked up and dropped off for all excursions. Very convenient.
