Belizean Shores Resort

Situated in a perfect location, half way to town the resort offers everything you need. No need to go into town to take a catamaran tour , they offer it right there at the dock! So convenient. The pool is heated and perfect for adults and kids alike. Antonio, the security guard was so welcoming as were the office staff. Always ready to help in anyway. When booking my trip Ruby arranged my inter flights and transfers which was so helpful and assuring . The condo comes complete with everything you could possibly need, making it feel like home! Trisha did an amazing job at housekeeping making sure all our needs were met. When we return this will be our go to spot! No complaints here!! Thank you all for an incredible week!

Belizean Shores was the perfect spot for our family of 4. Loved that the teens had a sleeping loft in our Upper Level Pool View place. The dock was also the nicest one around with hammocks, travertine deck, lounge chairs, tables, couches, etc. Plenty of shade or places to get sun, whichever you choose. Bottled water provided in room and everything was comfortable and well appointed. Super clean and great staff too. While it's not fancy, it met more than our needs!

We travelled for the Holidays to Belize with our 9 yr old and 2 yr old. The pool was perfect for families, our room overlooked the pool. Dock was beautiful with hammocks and seating to watch sunrises. Staff was so friendly to the kids and we felt very safe. Room was beautiful and very spacious. A golf cart is def a must cause your so far from town but we rented our own and enjoyed the ride into town. I’ve been to San Pedro 7 times since I was a kid and glad to be away from the busy town as it’s becoming overcrowded and over commercialized. Will def book Belizean Shores again for our next stay!

Belizean Shores was perfect for our family holiday. The staff were responsive and professional. Our beds were quite uncomfortable and they were able roger foam mattress toppers for all three beds improving our sleep. It’s well laid out and there are excursions available right from the dock.

My husband and I first arrived at Belizean Shores ten years ago for our honeymoon. Ten years later, we brought our daughter. The place continues to be well maintained, service prompt and helpful, and it offered all the amenities we needed for a family vacation. The kitchen was well equipped, the AC perfect, and the furnishings comfortable. It was wonderful being able to borrow kayaks and paddleboards from the resort for free. You can go snorkeling a short paddle away from the beach in very quiet and calm waters. Tuff Enuff has an office on the dock of the hotel so you can easily book outings from the tour company. This resort is about a 15 min golf cart ride to San Pedro, but there's now a small produce market right in front of the resort and a great restaurant across the street, the Tipsy Lobster. It might make sense for a family to bring food or make a stop in the grocery in San Pedro, SuperBuy, to pick up what you need. Dining options aren't plentiful by foot. We were so grateful for the helpful service that Esmeralda and Caren in particular delivered throughout our stay. Antonio, head of security, went out of his way to assist us when we had problems with machinery.

The staff was super friendly. Lots to do for kids at the hotel - ping pong, tennis, basketball, life size chess, great pool, volleyball. But we had sugar ants in the kitchen, the toilet didn't work great, and the AC wasn't the best. In their defense it was crazy hot the week we were there. Would overall recommend!

We had a wonderful week in a two story ocean view room with two adults and two kids. We loved having a separate sleeping area upstairs for the kids. It was nice to have a kitchen with a microwave and fridge for leftovers. The property is very clean and everyone is helpful and accommodating. The pool bar bartenders were attentive and the drinks were delicious. They used fresh pineapple in the pina coladas, which were ice cold. We did several tours with Tuff-E-Nuff (scuba, snorkeling, and a day trip to Caye Caulker). Ernest was a great (and safe) dive master. The coral and fish are the most beautiful I’ve seen anywhere in the world, and just a short boat ride away. James and Andre gave us a fantastic day with handmade ceviche, rum punch, great music, and loads of local history and fish identification. I loved the quiet, laid back vibe of Caye Caulker. We rented a golf cart for adventures around the island (Secret Beach and San Pedro). There are great dining options nearby, including the food we ordered at the pool bar and a special dinner at the sister resort, Cocoblanca. We also ate well at the Tipsy Lobster, which is across the road. In the mornings, sometimes you can catch a guy selling awesome breakfast burritos and tamales from his bike. The resort was very quiet and clean and the service was outstanding.

We had a wonderful stay at Belizean Shores this past week. Every staff member went out of their way to make sure my family had everything we needed and were having a great time. The resort was lovely, very well maintained grounds, wonderful views and both the patio at the end of the dock and the pool were great places to hang out & relax.

The hotel was in perfect condition, the room was spacious and the pool area was perfect for the kids. Staff were incredibly helpful, going out of their way to help us from small maintenance issues to renting a golf cart, ideas for tours or dining spots. Location was north of San Pedro town, but less than 20 minutes ride by golf cart

Best family trip ever! Staff, tours and community was friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back!
