Radisson Blu Hotel Bruges

Very nice room and hotel. On site dining was very spendy for a family. We had to walk to train station for coffee, nothing in the room.

Loved this place, family friendly, close to the centre. Parking simple and lovely service.

There was human excrement on my son’s sheet when we got into the room. The lady at reception changed the sheets and offered us a free drink at the bar. It was 9:30 at night and my children are young so not helpful. Not really acceptable but it wasn’t her fault. Won’t be staying at the brand of hotel again as the compensation offer was nowhere near sufficient. Very disappointed.

The hotel is very close to the train station, about 5 min walk. It is about 15 to 20 min walk to the city center. A bit inconvenient at night as there are no stores or restaurants nearby. It's next to the parking lot and train station, did not feel too safe since it was very quiet. The rooms are nice but there are no doors to the shower and tub area, which I found very inconvenient and uncomfortable as I travelled with family.

A lovely stay and the family room worked well with out two young children. Only criticism is that check-out was very slow at 9am. A very long queue with only one person on the desks.

At check-in I was told Expedia had cancelled my booking, no family rooms were available. Thankfully the hotel accomodated interconnected rooms. Expedia were not very helpful in compensating for their mistake. Thank you Raddision.

Hotel was as expected. Photographs were somewhat flattering to be honest and bar and common space were underwhelming given size of hotel. Generally though the formula works. Clean and reliable. Rooms uninspiring but comfortable.Excellent self serve breakfast. Our booked family room had a problem with a loud buzzing noise coming from an adjacent server room (apparently a problem not previously experienced and a maintenance issue). We were moved without fuss to a suite which was obviously a more impressive room. Staff dealt with the issue without fuss and efficiently.

I have booked a suite for my family, but we found the shower is not covered. When I explained to the receptionist that we need a family friendly room they downgraded my room and refused to refund the difference saying that the images on the site are clearly showing the shower doesn’t has a door or any cover. I have reviewed my booking through Hotels.com and no any image or information about this and my reservation mentioned clearly that my booking is for a family with kids. I am really feeling very disappointed of the way the manger of the shift managed this. I used to be a customer for Radisson blu in different countries, and I think they are loosing their loyal customers by this unprofessional way.
