Excellent stay with very friendly staff and in a fantastic location. It was our first trip abroad for the children and a stop over whilst heading to a wedding. The room was comfortable and the boys loved the bunk beds.

Lovely hotel in great location. Our room was good, the top bunk was really high with no bottom end bar and low side bars and not suitable for a younger child, our 10 year was even nervous about it. Room & all areas were really clean. Reception staff helpful. Breakfast was fab, definitely worth adding it on.

The property is convenient. We got the family room, it was spacious and clean. I was disappointed the room didn't have a kettle and didn't offer water bottle. The hair dryer would turn off after 2-3mins of usage.

The location of this property was excellent as it is in the centre of Bruges. The room was comfortable and clean but there were a few issues for a family staying there. We had booked a family quadruple room for us two adults and our two young children, but there was only one small shelf for our clothes and only 4 hangers in the hanging area, meaning we all had to live out of the suitcase. There was also no locks or limiters on the windows, which were on the 4th floor. There was also no chain on the hotel room door on the inside, so no way of preventing our 4 year old from opening the door. The bathroom was great, with a decent shower and bath tub and plenty of hanging for towels. The parking was also very convenient and a plus point. All in all we loved our stay, but felt there were a few small touches that could have been better. Also somewhere to stand the suitcase would be good.

After a delayed check-in due to the room not being available, we couldn't have been more pleased. The family room on the 4th floor was clean, quiet and had good views over the city. The hotel is located directly in the historic part of the city with good parking to boot. We couldn't have asked for more from this hotel, highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic hotel in a fantastic location, the rooms were extremely clean and pleasant and the showers were great. Friendly staff and the breakfast option was very good, plenty of variety for the whole family. I couldn’t find any faults, very happy that we selected this place. I may try their parking next time, this time however I used a car park about 10 minutes walk away which was great value for money but was a nightmare to walk from with the rain we had on out trip, all in all, a very pleasant hotel in a fantastic spot.

A friendly welcome and fantastic family room. Great location. Would be nice to have coffee facilities in the room. And breakfast was rather chaotic (not enough cups / queue 10 mins for the coffee machine). But overall a good stay.

So the area is nice and the hotel was decent. The shower however had mold (not a huge deal considering no ventilation) but then the steam from the shower kept our fire alarm going off so the desk call our room three times and sent someone up to check. Better safe than sorry but it got old. Then our room was right next to a road that I think was also used as an access road. So to about 10 or 11 at night and starting again at 6am, all you hear is trucks and equipment and just such loud noise. Woke up both my husband and I and our two kids more than once. Absolutely horrible night’s sleep.

We really enjoyed Martin’s, the location is perfect, it was very nice stay. The only thing that needs fixing is the bunk bed. We are a family of 4 and had a room with a queen bed and bunk bed. The top bunk bed is so flimsy and squeaky that it makes so much noise every time the person moves. The wifi wasn’t working. Overall it didn’t make our stay negative, the staff is fantastic, the breakfast is one of the best we had throughout our one month travelling through Europe, so much variety and fresh. The location is perfect. Loved Bruges and will come back.
