Radisson Blu Astrid Hotel, Antwerp

I was unable to check in for 1-2h after arriving as a huge group had just arrived. However this gained me a room upgrade to a junior suite. Unfortunately this placed me on the floors with all the young families and it was very loud indeed but luckily slept well. Mainly I was annoyed that both spa facilities were out of order as I only book hotels with these because want to use them! However free parking with silver hotels.com membership and for the full 2nd day.

Great hotel, superb location, friendly staff clean and well equipped room. However, make sure your room has NOT got an adjoining room (unless you need children or family access. Our stay was spoilt firstly by TV and conversation and secondly adult nighttime activity at 3am from the guestin the next room. Had there not been an adjoining door all would have great! Check on adjoining rooms!

The hotel is really nice and clean. Services are good, even though sometimes it feels the employees cannot decide or tell unless asked on things. For example, be careful if you have a car higher than 1.85 m. It will not fit their underground garage. Then you have to ask where you can park and they recommend you something. Nonetheless, the other parking is not for free (included in the room price) and I personally did not get any compensation back. One other thing I was not told about, was that if you hangout "Do not clean my room" on your door, starting with the 2nd day of doing that, you will get a 5 Euro voucher to use at the hotels bar/restaurant. But be careful as the "Do not disturb" sign will not do that as in my case. Stayed 5 nights, they only cleaned my room once as I wanted, but never got a voucher as I always had the "do not disturb" sign on the door. My work colleagues had the "do not clean" and got 2 or 3 vouchers. The views from the room are nice as long as you are at least at floor 4 or 5. Beds are comfortable, but the armchair and "sofa" beside the bed, even though good looking, not as comfortable. Smart TV in the room that you can "stream" your phone to, which is nice to watch your TV series from Netflix or Disney+. Really well placed hotel as well with lots of activities to do around and lot s of places to eat or drink beer. Then, within 5-10 minutes drive you are on the highway towards anyplace. The room is enough for 1 family with 1 child or 2 very small.

Competitive price for such a great central location. Great facilities, pool and saunas aswell as gym were all great. Lovely bar area with lots of seating. The only gripe would be we didn't eat breakfast with the kids at the hotel as the charge for 4 of us would've been same price as the room fir the night, that said plenty of dining options for breakfast close. The proxy supermarket across the road to the right had was terrific. Great stay

We booked last minute a family suite. We were on 8th floor and had amazing view. Spider man would have liked it! Simple but perfect pool and superb breakfast again with fabulous view.

I really liked the hotel, big family room with nice views over the city, good breakfast and a nice pool area. Really well located, right next to the zoo and chocolate museum (both great to visit with the kids) as well as 1 minute walk from that train station. A short walk to the shops and historic centre.

This was our second stay here. We stayed in their family junior suite, which is a fantastic room. We were initially given a room overlooking the side road, but we requested to have a room with a view of the beautiful train station across the square - the reception team was fantastic in helping us out. Very useful to have the option of underground parking; great swimming pool and sauna; lovely hotel bar to spend the evening; and the room itself and the view were just WOW! Great location, close to the heart of Antwerp. This feels more like a 5 star hotel and at a reasonable price. We will certainly return to this hotel next time we visit Antwerp and will highly recommend it.

We had a bad experience. 1. There was cold water to shower in. Despite having reported to reception and asked for an update when problem was fixed, we never heard anything and had to shower cold. 2. As I brought a baby along, I called roomseevice to bring up a water but was declined by a guy in the bar because we had paid our room in advance and not credit card was left in the lobby. I had a credit card in my room and could have paid there or next morning in lobby. But we were declined this. It was only a one night stay but not worth the value of money at all. Best/ Susan

The hotel is in a very good location. Spa was terrible. Steam not working dry sauna dudnt have any means to add water to get sauna hotter. I saw a guy spit in the pool. Check was long and delayed junior suite is just 1 large room with a sofa. Breakfast was terrible they dont even serve beans.

Amazing location to go to the city, easy access to the train, bus and the zoo. Hotel staffs are helpful and friendly. Upon our check in, we end up receiving gift from the hotel for our kids and also upgrade our room. The view is amazing all round the day and night. Highly recommend this hotel in any event of visiting Antwerp.
