Aloft Brussels Schuman

I have stayed at this hotel twice now as I am a frequent visitor to Brussels. The room smelt of foul water on both stays. They were different rooms. The smell appeared to come from the drains in the shower. They seem to have a problem with them. I have found the staff to be friendly and helpful save for when I followed a sign saying 3 items for 6 Euros for breakfast only to be charged full price for the goods because the said that the offer expired 10 minutes before, even though they had kept the offer sign up. The staff obviously could and should have only charged the offer price of 6 Euros. They were also fairly rude in breaching their contractual obligations. I was with my family, so I did not think it was worth having an argument with them over a few Euros that they had over charged me by. But the experience has left a sour taste in my mouth and I will certainly think twice before staying their again. Other hotels treat their guests better and don't smell.
