The Diplomat Radisson BLU Hotel, Residence & Spa

This hotel is definitely not recommended. We were a group of 9 so we booked 3 rooms that sleep 3 each, however, we were surprised that the rooms only have 1 king bed and a sofa, NOT sofa bed just a normal sofa that doesn't fit a 10 years old child. The staff initially wanted to charge us the extra bed (which was also extremely small) but then after talking to the manager they didnt. So we paid for apartment rooms to be comfortable and we ended up not comfortable at all. Add to this that in 2 of the rooms the water in the bathrooms flooded so while taking a shower the entire room was covered with water. And the smell was the cherry on the top. In summary, even though i usually book in radisson blu in most of the countries, in Bahrain it is definitely not recommended. To be fair, they accepted giving us late checkout.

Nice place to stay for family

We loved our stay. Family friendly hotel. The staff was very polite and friendly. Our room was spacious, and clean. The only thing is that smoking is allowed everywhere in the pool area, even infront of the kids pool! I guess that is more of a cultural thing but I find it very disappointing that adults dont care about kids well-being. Other than that I would highly recommend it and we will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Radisson with our two small children and the staff accommodated us with a baby cot in a spacious room. We had lunch in the dining room with a choice of menus including buffet and Irish pub menu. I tried the spa for the first time and it was a let down. Overpriced and unprofessional staff made the experience not worth it even though my treatment was okay. No one at the desk when I arrived then someone came out on their phone and dealt with me while on their cell. Then no one around to guide you where to go. Treatment room shower was broken so I had to walk back to locker room mid treatment. It was just a mess. Excluding the spa experience we had a great time and will stay again.

It was a one night stay but it was wonderful. The only bad thing was that the phone operator forgot to place my room service order, so my children's dinner was delayed for 2 hours. Housekeeping was great. And i got more complementary water bottles just for having my kids with me. Overall it was great. The room was newly furnished and all the amnesties were available.

My family and I appreciate the two nights we spent at this hotel. Check in and check out were smooth and the food we had was great. We noticed that some parts of the hotel were under renovation and that had no impact on our stay. Our kids also enjoyed the time they spent at the playcare and crafts they made. The gym was a bit outdated but spacious and with plenty of equipment. My wife didn’t like that women weren’t allowed in the jacuzzi and that there was no time for women only to enjoy it. Regardless, we will stay at this hotel again.
