MAXX by Steigenberger Vienna

In general all hotels worldwide put up photos that make the room look bigger than it is and brand new. Then seeing user damage on walls or furniture is always a bit of a bummer. The hotel has a very relaxed vibe. I picked it for the larger than average roomsize, but the interior is not most handy for two people (if you're looking to hang your clothes, put away your stuff). I appreciated the room having a fridge, it has a great shower (good water pressure) Unfortunately not the prettiest view, facing an officebuilding. Great location close to U4 subway and a nice park that always has lots of people and kids hanging out playing around giving the area a nice vibe. Also close to tram 6 and 18. The tv had many channels and not all only in German (so also regular stations next to the standard international news channels). Personnel was kind.

Hotel lobby was very bright and welcoming. Staff lovely and helpful. Room very clean and spacious very much like a London hotel room ! Bed huge and comfy ! Room service everyday! Sadly windows didn’t open! Hotel situated further away from the centre of Vienna than we anticipated,but easy access to and from, without all the noise of the centre! Defo would recommend to friends and family!
