Hotel Royal

We stayed here four nights. The property description is misleading in two important ways. The parking available “on site” is at least a quarter mile away at the Vienna Marriott—not on site. My wife has a disability and we had luggage, so this was a big deal. The main reason we chose this hotel is Expedia’s description says it has “laundry facilities” and also “dry cleaning/laundry service”. When I asked for information about the laundry facility, she denied that the hotel would advertise that, but then she said “that means Vienna has laundry facilities”. This meant I had to look up laundry facilities, wake up at 5:30am, walk to the UBahn while hauling two bags of laundry, walking three more blocks, and then sit in a laundromat for a few hours of my vacation when I had planned on doing all of this at our hotel. We had our “Do Not Disturb” thing on the doorknob and they came in while we were watching TV—that was strange. The location is super convenient and that is the only reason I could recommend someone staying there with a family.
