Austria Trend Hotel Europa Wien

Wonderful hotel, located in the heart of Vienna. It’s at the center of a lovely square with fountain surrounded by restaurants, shopping and close to public transit. The hotel staff was kind, helpful and very friendly. The rooms were clean, spacious enough for the days spent. It was a bit noisy at night time with kids partying in the plaza outside the hotel. Overall it was a wonderful central location to get to most places in Vienna.

I recently stayed at the Austria Trend Hotel Vienna on July 24-26th. Due to a last-minute change in my accommodations, I had to book a hotel in Vienna upon arrival. I found the Austria Trend Hotel and did quick research to find that it was the only affordable hotel in the city center within walking distance to many tourist sites. At check-in, reception was cordial, but could not find my reservation on the system since it hadn't updated yet. Eventually, it was found on my reservation which gave the hotel confirmation number with your reservation and the receptionist upgraded us to a corner room who a balcony, just in time for a glorious sunset in Vienna. After almost a month on the road, this was a welcome site. No bathtub in the room, but the shower was sufficient. The soap dispensers could use some updating as they kept coming off. No air conditioning in the room, but luckily we didn't need it. Central location and within walking distance to two U-bahns (underground subways), lots of restaurants nearby, and the hotel will assist and even sell tickets to tourist attractions as well as book cars to the airport. Convenience was great. I wish the breakfast was included as it was pricey €20 and there really isn't any breakfast places in the area so you are left with the hotel breakfast. My daughter was with me, but since she is a child she are free which was worth it for the both of us. Also, free wifi in the hotel and slower in the room, but very helpful as well. I am returning to Vienna again in December and will again look into staying here.
