Citadines St Georges Terrace Perth

Unfortunately, this is a hotel that we would NOT recommend. Arriving in front of the hotel at 5.20pm. NO drop off parking zone - 4pm to 6pm. Peak traffic Would have been helpful to have this MENTIONED on the site. Drove around the block again looking for another entry for their on site parking. When I called the receptionist on where we were to park, She mentioned a Wilson carpark across the road, few doors up. Drove past the hotel again in order to turn around to cross to the other side of the road. Ever tried to cross the other side in peak traffic!! Around 6.15pm, carried our gear from the carpark to the hotel AND it was raining. {no trolley is provided for their guests to make the arrival much easier} A thought came on how a family/single parent would have managed that trip. Eventually, we got to the front desk, only to be greeted by a lady who was not so happy to be there. By now, it was 6.45pm. As we got out of the elevator to our level, the carpets smelt wet, stained, old and the hallway uninviting. So was our room which was an executive suite. It was after 7pm, hungry, there was a maintenance issue that could not be resolved, was offered another suite by a different receptionist who was very helpful. Cancelled the booking and went to Crown Metropol at 7.30pm. Only seeing that level and room, I can only say that it really needs to be upgraded and to invite warmth into the hotel. Which I would love to upgrade this hotel Myself. Emma & Endre
