PARKROYAL Monash Melbourne

Great location and connected to a shopping centre with a supermarket and some good family dining options. There is also decent buffet breakfast that is open until 9:30 am on weekdays and 10 am on weekends - as a family who loves to sleep in while on holiday, it would be great if this had been open for longer however the morning where we made it, the food was good and the staff were welcoming. The property itself is clean however the pool and gym are not in the hotel and access to these facilities are not explained at all during check-in. To access the gym, you need to get a seperate pass from reception and for the pool, you have to go through the shopping centre. Also at night (past 10pm) your room key cannot be used to get to the right hotel level from the shopping centre so you have to go through the carpark to get back to the room. Also not explained at check-in and made for a very fustrating time after what was meant to be a quick late night woolies run. Our family stayed a total of 6 nights and overall, the location was good for what we needed to do and we were happy with the room and hotel.

Not baby friendly

We got told to go back into our room to eat even after we explained we were trying to get our baby to put herself to sleep. Made our stay a little harder. Otherwise amazing!
