We spent four nights this summer. The hotel is located in a high-rise apartment building in the center of Box Hill, a major Asian community neighborhood. Excellent location within minutes walk to shopping mall, restaurants and Box Hill train/tram station. You could find almost any type of Chinese cuisines. Pubic transport is very convenient. We took train to downtown, beach and zoos. The room is a bit small for the family but it provides everything we need.

I have stayed here a few times. Positives: Convenient location next to Box Hill Plaza. It has a very good Hotel pool. The rooms are on the small side for a family but ok. Well kept. Beds are comfy. Negatives: Parking is a pain with not enough spots for guests. I had to hunt for a spot most days and had to park in visitor parking one night. Cost of parking is quickly approaching CBD prices at $16 a night which is stupid for the suburbs. Service is very average where you have to ask the front desk for pool towels but they rarely have them available and need to bring them eventually. You need to proactively ask for your room to be cleaned despite hotel per night fees being the same as when it was full service. Overall, ok. I would stay again but I am also just as likely to try somewhere else.
