We had booked a room for two adults and a child for our son and family. However, on arrival there was no bed for our granddaughter and we had to make a request for the child’s bed, for which we charged extra.

The hotel Grand chancellor Hobart was wonderful everything about it , loved the pool, gym and sauna for a hotel it was perfect no complaints. I hope to be back in the next year with the rest of the family. 🙏

Disappointed that we were unable to use pool as it was consistently full of children playing, even after dinner at 9pm. Needs to have adult only hours at some stage of the day or evening. Additional cost for parking, why not include parking with room costs?

To be honest this is one of the nicest places we have stayed in as a family for a long time. Every area was top notch, and from the .oment we arrived to the moment we left we where well looked after We will definitely use again.

My partner and i came to hobart to get away for my 40th birthday with the kids staying with grand parents back in launceston. When we arrived at Grand Chancellor the staff were fantastic and really helpful, we really enjoyed our stay at your hotel and would definitely recommended it to anyone. We also really appreciated that we could leave our bags and keep our car in Vallee for a coupe hours after check out to do some last minute shopping really nice touch and very helpful. Thankyou

Great views, staff was very helpful apart from our checkout staff. We noticed they charged for movies multiple times as my kids were unable to finish the movie in the same day. They should improve their system to give warning before starting the same movie again. Apart from that, really great experience.

The only negative comment I have is how unsafe the area around the pool is. It’s extremely slippery and children were slipping over a lot. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

really helpful staff- from reception with early check-in (we had 3 very tired young kids needing rest) to late checkout when our flight was cancelled. The concierge helped with booking taxis and organising our bags which was appreciated. great location and nice facilities. very happy, will be back again

I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Hobart. Excellent location, staff very helpful and excellent pool for the kids. Only down side would be the traffic noise in the morning but we were up early with the kids so didn’t bother us.
