Definitely a hotel with a history! Some of the biggest beds we have seen and a large family room. We did not know of the renovation on going but apart from this and possibility of requesting a harder mattress before we enjoyed living in this historic hotel. Staff are friendly and housekeeping very efficient. Hot water in shower needs a bit of adjustment but works. No view of the harbour but it is a close walk from Saturday market and the ferry.

The hotel is quaint, with a lovely atmosphere and with beautiful finishings. It is also very quiet and staff were friendly and helpful. The history of the building was interesting & eating & bar areas historically apt. Breakfast provided was an added bonus. I would and have recommended the hotel to familynand friends.

Beautiful old hotel full of character. Well maintained rooms and comfy beds. The only issue was the inconsistent water temperature in the shower showing the age of the hot water system maybe. Lovely continental breakfast. Staff were super friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful when our stay had to change at the last minute due to flight cancellation. Stayed in a family room with two small children and they loved exploring the hotel. We will definitely be back.

Staying as a family on business, we thoroughly enjoyed the comfort of the facilities of Hadleys😊 sumptuous food indulged in-room after a busy day, selection of inhouse movies & exotic bathroom toiletries😊
