Beauty views, right on the beach. The restaurant and buffet breakfast are delicious. My kids particularly loved the pancake machine. The view from the spa really made our stay complete 😁

The staff is great, super helpful and very kind. The room is ageing and could use with a remodel. What could be improved is really the noise isolation. You can hear everything from the corridor and our room was facing the pool so the noise until 10pm from people in the pool and jacuzzi made it hard for our toddler to sleep. Area around the hotel is awesome, great restaurants and shops.

We just paid over $400 a night for a 3 nights stay for a quiet break from our 3 young kids. The room and the motel was lovely with a beautiful view but what a shock that a pub was located right under our room. The loud music and noise went each night till 2 am and our peaceful trip was not peaceful at night at all. We had hardly any sleep and to top it off, the TV was so old we could not even access a movie by any means to try to distract from the constant thumping noise. Location was great but I also feel very sorry for the elderly people who also was a quiet and peaceful trip and assume this is the place for it. The loud pub does not suit the demographics of the hotel at all. For such an expensive trip I feel so dissapointed in the whole experience.

Loved the back door exit right on to the beach. Did not love the front door onto the smelly alley. Food great. Bars great. Comfortable junior suite- plenty of room and excellent views

Just so close to park the car and have everything you need within walking distance. So much nicer than putting the kids back in the car after a 3 hour drive to go get tea.

The staff are really lovely, accommodating and always happy to help. The room had some gross long black hair along the window sill and floor but otherwise was very clean and well presented. The building itself could probably benefit from some upgrades but as it is, has a lot of character and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The buffet breakfast was nice with plenty of options including barista made coffee. Its a short walk to entertainment for kids and adults and some great little shops along jetty rd.

1st time stay @ the Stamford Grand Glenalg A little run down, pool & spa had Reno’s going in school hols & think children’s breakfast buffet should be cheaper & not the same as adults-other than that the staff were lovely😄

When we first arrived our allocated room had a leak in the bathroom, however, the staff were very helpful and assigned us to another room. The rooms are simple and comfortable. We had a junior suite which gave us plenty of room. The rooms, however, could really do with an overall refurbishment as they are quite old. Location was great for walks along the beach front and to the hospitality venues within the area. Easy access to to city and other parts of Adelaide, which was great as we got to see quite a few areas.

An awful hotel very tired - carpets in general area, stained and pulled. Corridors smell. Our room which was a junior suite was very tired and when we flushed the toilet it sounded like the pipes were about to burst. We then tried to get some sleep, but there was loud music vibrating through the room from downstairs - we were on the 6th floor and so thought this room would be quiet !! Music went on until 2am. Had to leave the following day as could not stay longer - could not get a refund as already prepaid through wotif - will never stay here again.
