Inability for hotel to have empathy for my unexpected illness with family member Wotif team tried to cancel booking but team at Lasserters would not approve

Really enjoyed our stay there for 3 nights. With two adults and two kids we requested interconnecting rooms, but this was only available on the ground level which was dingy and unpleasant. They were unable to find interconnecting rooms on upper levels, so we ended up with rooms across the hall which was not ideal.
