Novotel Wollongong Northbeach

Everything we needed for our family was there and loved the walking distance to the beach.

Loved the location and the food options around the hotel. The beach is right across the road! The he staff were lovely and check in and out was a breeze. Beautiful lobby too. Unfortunately our room smelt musty (very overwhelming). Also found hair in our bathroom that was not ours! My hubby is bald, my kids are blonde and I’m a redhead and this hair found was dark (several strands). Disappointing seeing as we paid a decent amount for one night thinking we would sleep well but the smell was not great. We did love the breakfast! Great value for the extra $50

Liked the location, overpriced, no in house amenities (milk, coffee) paid nearly $500 for one night for a room with two queen beds and our kids were left sleeping on a terrible pull out bed with a very thin mattress. Not enough linen or pillows either. Very disappointed for the price.

Staff were welcoming, friendly and accomodating. We booked the 2x queen bed with ocean view for 1 night for 2 adults and a toddler. We got located level 9 and the views are amazing. We got both the mountain and ocean view. Overall hotel area and rooms were both clean. Clean and neutral smell to bed sheets and pillows. Fluffy pillows. However the curtains were abit dirty at close but it didnt bother us too much. Location is perfect for us, beach just at the ftont of the hotel and a nice cafe across the road. We tried Diggies and they had good food and coffee. Parking was $25 overnight, plenty of spots. Our room didnt include a microwave and the reception staff were happy to reheat our toddlers milk. Overall a really nice stay.

This is our favourite place to go, bright and airy - very family friendly and walking distance to everything. It can be anything you want from quiet and romantic to fun and vibrant :)

Location is good Breakfast buffet was excellent Pool area lovely Bar had lovely food and staff Room was nice and quiet but beds were NOT queen beds they were doubles, which was very disappointing as website said Queens. Room service was terrible meat not cooked and my kids nuggets and chips cold. The staff on reception not very competent at all. I was told to perhaps order door dash as the kitchen was busy. Upon arrival they did not register my car rego and tried to charge me $98 for parking. I had to go back in after check out and settle the parking. I’ve stayed at this hotel many times and this was the first time I’d been charged for parking. To make matters worse the staff member was rude and tried to argue with me.

Stayed for 2 nights to give my family an awesome memorable xmas. Xmas night was good spoons with dessert and only stake knife! Use our hands and didn't bother asking its been a long day and just wanted to eat. Boxing day breakfast wasn't tasty what we normally eat at such price then dinner was just disappointing. The staff that showed us to our table female wouldn't ask or talk to me even though I was the one that asked for bloody dinner and a table but she just eyed me out and focused on my husband asking him all the questions she should've been asking me even though my husband was playing with our baby daughter behind me. Rude and arrogant to belittle another female treating her family some nice dinner! We asked for a high chair from her, nothing! Until the third staff we asked! Food took almost an hour to wait and it was just uncomfortable to sit there while everyone was staring at our table. I don't mind spending money on good and yummy food but spent over $300 on this particular night! Wasn't satisfying at all, food wasn't what we hoped for. Receptionist was awesome 5 stars and house cleaning as well. We'll be back for new years but we'll be eating elsewhere or uber eats

Great experience overall. A little disappointed with the pool, no floaters equipment for children.

Great hotel right on the beach. Had everything you need for a terrific stay. Room service was great and the kids loved the pool.
