Albury Manor House

Lovely Tudor style motel, I could tell it is family run, because reception check in was exceptional, even offered an upgrade from a Queen & Single bed to two Queen beds. Great meal was served and again with friendly, exceptional and efficient service. Thank you.

My family of 4 had a very nice stay in a comfortable, large family room. Nice staff, well frequented restaurant (although we didn’t eat there) and quite close to town centre.

We stayed here because of the great reviews it had. Nice close location to the freeway. The room itself was a good size with two queen beds; one was comfy, the other was a tad hard (no pillow top as advertised) and apart from hearing the neighbouring rooms all night flush their toilet/turn on taps, it was very quiet. Unfortunately that’s about all this place has going for it. The room was dated and filthy. The carpet had stains/marks and what appears to be patches where no vacuum has ever touched visible throughout. The bathroom: hair all over the floor and what I only hope was tooth paste splattered all over it. Patches around the toilet and corners, that again, look as though cleaner has ever touched. A dirty shower base, a vanity and taps that; not only were quiet visibly dated, but had also not had a good clean for quiet some time. The heater: was an electric heater on the floor which was unsafe for us travelling with young children. The air con: a sign placed under stating not to use. All walls and doors were marked with dirt and fingerprints. Although we did not get to have a meal in the restaurant, we did have the breakfast from there which was delicious.

The kids love the indoor pool! The beds are comfy and the staff are lovely. It's great to have the resturant there and the meal was nice, although the service was a little slow. Some of the fixtures are a little tired (loo seat wobbly), but generally very nice and clean.

I stay at this property regularly. It's not hip & modern but it's cosy & welcoming. Staff are always super friendly and helpful especially as i travel with two young kids. It's old school and when busy, there can be a bit of a wait on food at the restaurant during peak times so if travelling with kids, bring something to keep them entertained whilst you wait. Easy parking & convenient location. I don't stay anywhere else in Albury 😊

The most disappointing thing was that the swimming pool was closed till 4.00pm each day we were there due to some sort of conference, as the Conf. Room overlooks the pool. They need to partition off this room so that guests esp. with small kids can enjoy the pool and not have to pay to go public pools. Also why not have a BBQ. plenty of room for one. Probably will not stay here again.

Close to where I wanted to be (near family member). Clean, fabulous mattresses, can't help street noise on Friday/Saturday nights if facing street, but is quickly resolved. Gorgeous ambience and reminiscent of UK travels. I was given an upgrade on arrival which was a nice treat. Throughly enjoyed my stay here and will be back again.

Very accommodating with our 10pm check in for our family of 4. Very easy process, checking in and out. Would happily stay there again.
