Silkotel Hoi An

The warmest greeting I received in all of Vietnam. From the second I stepped through the doors past the indoor fruit trees I knew I was going to have an amazing stay. The. Nicest. Hotel. Staff. Ever. The hotel is clean, classically designed, but with all modern amenities. The hotel is very new, and you can feel it (in a good way). The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of western and local foods, and the spa was an incredible experience (I sprung for the four-handed massage, my first). Located just outside the old town, the location is perfect, and the hotel offers free shuttle rides to and from the beach (about 15 min away). I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. Also, right across the street is a family-run tailor that made me the best shirt I now own, and her brother (or father?) will rent you motorbikes for cheap. THANK YOU TO ALL THE FRONT DESK STAFF!
