Lotte Hotel Hanoi

Upgraded to a junior suite which came with lounge access. Well worth it for the room space and level of comfort. All room views were amazing. Not important but the hotel staff need to know how to make a cup of English breakfast tea. Breakfast on the whole was excellent. Rooftop bar a must place to visit as are the two pools. All the staff we encountered could not have bedn more helpful.

Good room condition, very clean room but it is next to the construction site. Noisy all over night. Lotte mart&dept store is together. Convenient if you travel with kids. Staffs are very friendly but I did not appreciate on my arrival reception staff. Overall it is okay for the money paid.

The junior club suite is super nice, we were upgraded for free and the views were amazing, the bathroom even had a heated toilet seat - don't knock it til you've tried it

During the Hanoi Youth Football League 2017 weekend, we had a pleasant stay at Lotte even as it started with a bit of confusion over the number of rooms we have booked for our family of 6. As the hotel was fully booked, we couldn't get a connecting room so the hotel reception staff, Mike Nguyen, helped us by recommending that we cancelled one of the booking as it was still within the cancellation limit. On top of that, the hotel management suggested an extra bed which actually fitted comfortably in our room. Kids actually had fun with the t Taxis are easily available for us to manouvre anywhere and the ever friendly and helpful hotel staff were always ready to tell the taxi driver of our destination. The hotel reception also offered currency exchange at a competitive rate as shop peddlers, especially for guests, so it was very convenient for us. Lotte Mart is located at the basement and a Lotte Department Store which had an indoor playground at L5. One exceptional moment was when we discovered that we had left our son's cap at the hotel, 3 days after we had checked out. When we decided to casually emailed the hotel while we were in Sapa, we didnt really have expected a reply. But there is was, 2 hours later, an email reply by Ms. Lisa Nguyen, with a photo of our son's cap. Unbelievable. It was just a cap but they went an extra mile to clean it up, place it in a new transparent bag, and put it aside for our pick up as soon as we arrived from Sapa. Amazing hospitality.

Upon arrival I was told that I have been upgraded to the junior suite. However I soon realised this wasn’t a room that anyone would want to stay at. This room faces noisy construction site and roads. I didn’t get a good night sleep because of construction noise throughout the night! Yes they did piling works throughout the night! Unbelievable!!! Next issue I had was the bathroom. No screens to separate the shower from the toilet which were so close to each other. The weird thing is one had to enter the shower to get to the toilet and I hated that when everything is wet after a shower! Which genius designed this bathroom? Although this is a five star hotel with huge gym and beautiful indoor and outdoor pool I can’t help feeling irked by this flawed design in the bathroom.
