Danang Golden Bay

I want to apologize to the staff at the hotel. There was some miscommunication on my part because of the language barrier. I made a mistake on my check in review. I was asked if I received a upgrade and I answered no when indeed I did receive a upgrade. My family and I were upgraded to a corner bay view family room with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a kitchen and living room. The hotel and the room was wonderful and the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Gold bath fixtures and very clean. Beautiful view of the bay from both sides of the room. Private balcony. A 5 Star Luxury Hotel. I would give it a 10 Star 🌟 rating. The staff were really welcoming.

This is the second time I visited Vietnam. I stayed at Danang golden bay hotel 4nights with my family, father and mother in law, brother in law, my husband and me. I'm really satisfied with hotel conditions, especially staff's service. They are so kind and try to help us every time. I'm really thank you to Rose(Thuong Doan♡)who is cute and kind. She made us happy from the airport when we arrived without booking the shuttlebus. She did her best to help us and I really impressed by her attitude. I will remember danang with her. When I went to downtown, I met Angela (Thanh Trang)☆. She always smiled and said good word to us. She tried to help us every time. And I also say thank you who cleaned my room 2537(2020. Jan.25). She(He) wrote the letter to me, and I was moved and happy. If I have a chance to visit danang again, I will stay at danang golden bay hotel because of the staffs. 1st floor restaurant was grateful to our family with little kids. Wonderful stay!

It is listed as a 5 star hotel, but I strongly disagree! First, we were supposed to have a driver waiting for us at the airport to pick us up, but the driver showed up 30 minutes late! Upon arrival to our hotel room, the cleanliness and condition of the room was far away from a 5 star hotel. The room was still in a dirty condition and there was still many areas left to be cleaned. Next, we had received a massage therapy at the spa on our first day. The treatment and service was outstanding. Today, we went to the spa and had received the same massage treatment like before. Only this time, the massage treatment was horrible and service was below a 1 star hotel. Nonetheless, the massage therapist threw my mother in law out of the room 15 minutes earlier than us. FYI, we started at the same time. The massage therapist who was massaging my wife presented bad service, did not speak, and kept turning on the AC. Now, my wife has caught a cold. I am very disappointed about the lack of professionalism and service from the spa at a 5 star hotel. The massage therapists who treated my mother in law and wife were definitely not full time workers who work regularly at the spa. Management definitely needs to educate the spa staff on how to present themselves with luxury service and act professional if they want to be considered 5 stars! The Front Desk, Bell & Door, F&B, and other hotel staff were excellent and provided outstanding service to our family during our stay!

Overall it is price-worthy stay. Eventhough there is no convenience store or other shops around the hotel, pool, food and its view compensate everything. To comment some point though, we stayed on 28th floor and right below the pool and it was noisy. I thought that kids were running but it was no one upthere... and right after check out, I found bed bug bites on my mom's skin. It was very clean bed but I do not know why...

Nice place!!! Great fir family. Only complaint would be distance from things...not really walking but literally only a 6-10 min cab ride to main town area.
