Comfort Inn at Buffalo Bill Village Resort

In short, clean rooms, great staff, terrible setup. LONG version. This was such a weird hotel stay. When you go to check in, the hotel is immaculate. However, after starting to unload, the staff asked for my info, and said that I would be checking into another building, so to stop unloading. Excellent staff members by the way The 2nd building was around back and completely separate from the main building. This 2nd building is WORN down and rough. The hallways are in desperate need of a remodel, and overall looks dingy. The keycard receiver on our door was super finnicky and we needed to swipe the card 6 or 7 times to get it to finally turn green and let us in. The next day our keycards didn't work, so we had to walk all the way around to the front of the first building while my family had to load back up in the car to wait. (Again staff were amazing). Breakfast, you have to walk all the way around to the front of the first building in order to get continental breakfast, which was good. HOWEVER, all of that to say the actual rooms in the 2nd building are super clean, comfortable, and feel like they were recently remodeled, minus the A/C heater was older. For the price we paid for this room, we were happy overall because we got the room for cheap enough. Typically having a clean room and good service is our must haves, and this hotel was outstanding at that. So I say all of this to hopefully inform you fully of what you are getting into if you stay at this hotel.

The good: The rooms were fantastic. Roomy, and modern. Seems like they had been remodeled recently. The buffet was great too. Plenty of eggs, bacon and bagels, cereal and fruit. The bad: Our room was right under the gym, and as luck would have it, there was a family with 3 rowdy 10 year olds, and they never stopped running and jumping until about 10pm. Another negative, the ice machine was broken. Had to go to a gas station for ice.😮‍💨

Nice hotel for our family trip. It offered a pool which was a little confusing as it was shared with the Holiday in next door. Breakfast was provided in an off-site building across the parking lot but was very appreciated. The staff was very friendly and courteous. We had a comfortable stay in Cody.
