Coachlite Inn

Great place for the price. We loved the tub in the room. Walkable to Sister Bay, though there is a pretty steep hill. Bed wasn't the most comfortable but it wasn't bad. Would give 5 stars, except... if you are not a heavy sleeper, do NOT stay on the bottom floor. We heard EVERY movement above us at night. Normally it would have been bad enough to cause us to leave, but we are currently in the middle of the newborn life and are so exhausted all the time, that we can sleep through just about anything at the moment. If not for that, it would have been pretty difficult to sleep.

We enjoyed staying at the Coachlite Inn for a family wedding. As a matter of fact, the newlyweds spent their first night there and had recommended this hotel. The room was very nice and clean with a microwave, small refrigerator and coffee maker, although a bit crowded. Wish we had another chair for the small table. The breakfast room was quite adequate, serving a variety of breakfast food, including boiled eggs and whole wheat toast for my special low-sugar diet. There was outside seating as well as inside. I was very impressed there were two recycling bins as well as one large trash bin. Lastly, it was within an easy 5 minute drive to downtown Sister Bay. The office staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again if we return to Sister Bay.

The property was a wonderful surprise in uniqueness. The gardens are beautiful and the rooms are very clean. It’s quiet and relaxing with seating outside. The person behind the desk was part of the owners’ family. He was very personable and gave great suggestions for local dining. If I’m ever in the area again I’ll definitely seek out this local gem.

Nice friendly staffs, very convenient location, clean rooms with a out door hot tub and a fire pit, free parking. The deluxe room with two queen beds that we stayed is smaller than we expected. It is ok for a couple but might be too small for a family with one or two kids. Overall we liked it and appreciate the staffs who kept it a very friendly place.

The Inn was very clean and the front desk people were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

Easy to get to, close to Sister Bay. However, room was not a "suite" as there was no door between the sofa bed and the regular bed. Which by the way was not a queen as they advertise. Was definitely a double, which the staff denies. We had a baby along, so having a separate area was definitely something we wanted, and it was hard to keep it dark and quiet enough for her. Weirdly enough (and it was not advertised) this had a 4 person jacuzzi tub in it. Took up a huge part of the room which was disappointing because we were not interested in having this in our room. And a dehumidifier was in the room because it gets humid in there. It filled up in a day.
