Hampton Inn White River Junction

Very nice hotel, all staffs are excellent, i enjoyed with my family and we choice the hotel when come back to the areaa.

Convenient area. Pool smaller than pictures and was taken over by a group of traveling college young adults for 5 hours during our stay, which prevented my young kids from wanting to go. Breakfast was great and overall the hotel was clean and in good condition. We had an issue with our air blowing cold for several hours no matter what we did with the thermostat, but after calling the front desk they sent maintenance up right away (within probably 5 mins!!) and he fixed it easily. There were two cabinet doors and 3 towel hangers that were falling off the hinges. Overall we would stay again, but would be just as likely to try one of the other hotels in the area to see if they were any better.

The pool area was especially delightful - clean, well-maintained, and a great place to spend time with friends and family. However, there were a few issues I encountered during my stay. Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit in our room was not functioning, which made for some uncomfortable nights. Additionally, the fridge in our room had a faulty door, causing it to never quite reach the desired temperature. I was also disappointed to discover leftover food beneath the bed, which indicated a lapse in the housekeeping department's attention to detail. Though these issues did not completely overshadow my experience, they were significant enough to warrant mention. In summary, this property has a lot going for it - a great location, pet-friendly, and a peaceful atmosphere. However, there is room for improvement in terms of maintenance and housekeeping. With a bit more attention to detail, this could be an excellent choice for travelers seeking a quiet and pet-friendly retreat.

The room was very comfortable and clean. Very quiet in spite of all the children due to school vacation. Breakfast was very good. Great location. Close to I-89 and I-91.

I really enjoyed the welcoming ambiance of the Hampton. The check-in was smooth and easy, the room was clean, well equipped and well-fitted, the fitness room is larger and more versatile than I had expected. My son enjoyed the pool, which is a great spot for kids. Fresh fruit and yogurt at the continental breakfast were delicious. Also, close to a terrific BBQ restaurant.

We have stayed at many Hampton Inns over the years. This one appeared dated and not well cared for. Outside the lobby entrance we were greeted with a bag of trash tied up but sitting there and many many cigarette butts. We found several long hairs in one of the beds under the comforter, so slept on top of the other but questioned if the bedding had been changed. The worst pillows ever. They were like marshmallows…absolutely no firmness. The hotel was noisy but that didn’t bother us and was expected with holiday vacation week and families. The staff was friendly. We passed on the breakfast after taking a look. For the room price and past experiences with Hampton Inns, we expected much more.

Hotel is clean, but the breakfast was very bad!! Room turns quite warm at night. Difficult to sleep. My family was sweating even with the AC on (which seems to shut off at night). Stay was not comfortable at all.

We chose this hotel for my husband's Vermont 100 mile race. Drive to the race was about 20 minutes. The area felt safe for the family, and a quick drive to restaurants. Room was clean and comfy. My kids loved the pool and commented that it was the very first time a "heated" hotel pool truly felt heated enough. One of them had an 'accident' during the night. The staff was very pleasant when I mentioned it, and the sheets were all changed when we got back. Breakfast was good. We will definitely stay here again for any future races.
