Holiday Inn Club Vacations Mount Ascutney Resort, an IHG Hotel

I must say, the aesthetic of this facility is amazing. However, this isn’t the best feature of this property. The staff is the best feature of this location. Athena and the other staff members did an excellent job accommodating me and my family. If you are ever in Vermont and need a quiet place to rest, Mount Ascutney Resort is the place to be. I highly recommend this location for Dartmouth parents. My son just graduated and this location served as my destination of choice.

This place is a perfect getaway for either couples or families

If you need a place to stay with a full kitchen and dining area, then this is the place. As a couple, we only stayed one night and didn’t really have a use for a full condo, but for larger families or longer stays it would be ideal. The AC in the bedroom kept shutting off, leaving the small room quite stuffy, but other than that we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here this past weekend, for our sons college graduation. We had a big family group in a few villas and it was great! The 3bedroom had plenty of room for all of us to gather in the living room dining room and kitchen. We had dinner at the Maple Kitchen on Saturday night-delicious! I will look for this resort when traveling in the future.

My kids and I have stayed at this hotel twice in the last year for April vacation. They’ve done some pretty great remodeling so our stay this time was even nicer. The front desk staff are some of the best people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. They answered all our questions and offered suggestions on places to visit. We will be coming back next year for sure.

Beautiful location at the base of Mount Ascutney. It may feel a bit isolated for some, but it was perfect for our family. It serves as a great home base to explore the area and there was enough to keep the kids busy. Highly recommend.

This was our first family trip for my husband, our three years old daughter, a ten weeks old baby boy and me. This hotel is beyond what we expected. Everything was perfect!! Everything you read on the website are all there. Beautiful, quiet, clean, excellent staff especially Tera the front desk!! Beyond perfect either you stay by yourself, as a couple or family. Lots of activities for everyone to do that three days won’t be enough time to do it all. We just came back yesterday from staying for a long weekend and a minute we got there my husband and I already planned on going back in the winter time for skiing and see the difference scenery also planing to go back every year from now on. It’s a place you never want to leave nor can’t wait to go back again. Even tho there is no cell service only wifi which hotel provided we didn’t mind at all. You can make phone calls from your room which is a hotel complimentary but to receive the calls they have to be connect to the front desk. Our three years old daughter was the happiest girl for her first trip beside how much fun she expressed she kept saying how beautiful the hotel was and that for us as a parents wanted for our kids to have as a memory that she will forever remember! Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Space was adequate for a family of 3. A little table to eat in and full kitchen which was nice for coffees in the morning. Pool was absolutely disgusting, run down and dirty looking. Water appeared brown and felt slimey. Completely out of towels and didn’t appear to have anyone maintaining. It at all.

This place is great for families. The restaurant was not only convenient, but the food was delicious. The pool was terrific, the place had everything we needed.
