I realize that things are different with covid, ie; mask wearing and whatnot, but the standard for a holiday inn express should be consistent. The desk person kept sticking her head around the plexiglass and lowering her mask. The tub had hairs in it, there was dirt on the TV stand and of the 9 folks I encountered only 2 had masks on.
Breakfast buffet during covid?
Pool open during covid?
Sharing elevators with non family members?
I truly hope this was an exception to the HI Express chain as that I have always found them to be a step above other motel chains. Especially given the price one pays.
