It was hot in the room. It smelt old, which I knew it was an older hotel but didn’t expect it to smell like that. Only reason we slept comfortable was due to having our little usb fans to plug in. My kids enjoyed the pool, bartenders made a hella of a sangria. If you like older hotel this is definitely for you. My family and I like to sleep like we are in Alaska in this down South Texas heat. It was an experience, definitely wouldn’t stay again.

Truly my favorite stay at any hotel which says a lot. If i am in valley, i will never stay anywhere else. This is really not a great place for kids but thats fine by me. Walking distance from a great food truck park and other good locations to walk to eat.

Worst experience ever. This used to be a wonderful location when I was a kid. Now that new ownership has taken it over, the maintenance is horrid. The room I booked had boogers all over the walls, the beds were all the way up against said walls, the floor was horribly slanted on the second floor that the bed was almost slanted at a 20 degree angle. When we complained they said there was nothing they could do because we booked through expedia. Even with a dirty damaged room they wanted me to stay the night in it as is! The views online also of the "courtyard view" were false as we were greeted to a brick wall outside our window. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH AND SANITY. We left and found a Marriott that knows hows to take care of guests.

Always a flawless experience when checking in and enjoying the property, and it’s various amenities. Courteous staff, professional while not stuffy. It truly feels like you’re being taken care of by an extended family. Can’t wait for my next staycation.
