OceanCliff Hotel & Resort

Beautiful property, landscaping and views. We stayed in room 11. Bed was hard as a rock and pillows we like cement blocks. Bar was closed due to wedding on property. There is no separate heating or AC in individual rooms so you can’t adjust room temp. Windows had no screens on them. Shower dripped water all night. The hotel is extremely loud and can every conversation outside the door. If you opened the window all the cigarette smoke from individuals smoking at the front entrance penetrated the small room and hallways in hotel. Rooms need upgrades and furniture is old. No refrigerator in room. There are so many beautiful hotels in Newport and unfortunately this in not one of them and we will not be returning. If you have small children I would avoid as all cost.

stay was great staff was great restaurant staff was great room was super clean but smaller than we expected and it didnt have a fridge but the bed was very comfy we would recommend to friends/family and will definately stay again in a larger room 😊

Though a tad off the beaten path from "downtown Newport" the location allowed for wonderful views from the hotel grounds, with the Safari bar positioned in the back overlooking Narragansett Sound. Just beautiful. The staff were polite and efficient and the "standard room" (king-sized bed overlooking well-manicured gardens at the entry) worked well for us. We would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends, without reservation!
